When we wait and you know you are going to miss it, and it is out of our control do you watch your thoughts? Can you feel the stress and tension in your body. Sometimes there is really nothing you can do. Is it the fact that your not in control cause the stress? What is in our control is how we react. Observe the sensations and see if you can learn to let go. It "just is" and there is nothing you can do to change it anyway. There must be a reason even though it may not be clear to you at the time. Acceptance is hard for all of us. What is really interesting is once the deadline is missed you take sigh of relief and move on. So next time you see it happening. Try to smile, try to laugh and say here we go again. I have had this happen to me three times recently. Guess what? Life goes on. Until the next deadline and then it starts all over again.
